Moving Houses is a psychological horror game that revolves around the players moving in on a new house to move on from their past. Inspired by games such as Silent Hill, Moving Houses takes the formula from classics and sprinkling in its own unique take on the psychological horror genre.

Everyone will want to leave their house at one point in their life, but now it's your time whether you like it or not. Moving Houses will have players leaving their one and only house while packing up their things as they explore their new home sweet home. But be warned, nothing is certain.

Nothing’s out of the ordinary… or is it?

The game is focused on its physics-based first-person gameplay about moving on with your life as you pack up your house and receive instant gratification as you tick off the things you need to do on your to-do-list. Be neat, be careful, or be a chaos goblin. But players, be warned. Not all is as it seems in this quiet little house. Something lurks within.

The game is perfect for players who want to either have a fun time or experience horror vibes (or both) as the game combines both humorous jokes and puns with psychological horror experiences. Its simple gameplay mechanics means that there is no difficulty at all, so players can use this game as a way of relaxing while passing the time.

The game will also keep players on the edge as evil forces lurk within the house, a good way to keep you on your toes. It is also compatible with the Steam Deck as well. The only downside to this game is that it has a total of 6 hours of gameplay time only. 3 hours of gameplay for the main game, and 3 hours for completionists to finish all the extra content.

Moving Houses is a wonderful indie horror game that greatly masks itself as an ordinary feel-good relaxing game when something horrific is hiding and lurking in the shadows. Although the gameplay time is short, its unique combination of horror and laughter makes up for it which makes it a game worth trying.
